Salut {{ first name | Gang }},

Your boy is slowly getting back to it (for anyone that cares lol)

We’ve partnered up with the BBC to promote their first-ever LinkedIn Live session focused on careers in Project & Change Management. Register here.

Quick shoutout to:

  • Our 28 new subscribers

  • Masumah, who was excited to see the newsletter in his inbox

  • Essa an aspiring degree apprentice, I bumped into in Wooly Road

  • Destiny for her consistent interaction online. To answer your questions:

    • The policy for some employers is that you are only allowed to apply for one programme over a certain period. But don’t worry, more opportunities are coming soon!

    • I’d also say the stance on employers “not” wanting to hire diverse talent is a lot more nuanced, as someone who works in this space full-time. But nothing beats being consistent with applications, getting 1% better daily and levelling up. Eventually, you will get the J*B!

  • Happy Belated Birthday to my well-being bestie Shoshanna. She’s working on a project to help more Grads & Apprentices and needs your help completing this survey.

  • Edan, who may love the newsletter a bit too much…

    Whatever this means???

Your next J*B might be in Tech

Tech companies have laid off 30,000+ people in 2026.

Whilst making more money
Record-breaking profits
And investing in AI

They are investing in AI and other technologies.

But getting rid of the actual people.

More efficiency. More money. More profits

The writing is on the wall...

AI IS taking jobs.

Dark. I know.

But it’s nothing personal. Just Business 101.

If you don't want to be in this predicament…

As a current employee
Or a job seeker

My advice would be to look for opportunities outside of traditional “BIG TECH” companies.

i.e. industries that are not considered to be Tech e.g. Telecoms, Media, Broadcasting, etc.

As they are investing in different technologies.

PLUS the people who have the expertise.

A company that falls into this category is the BBC.

They are hosting a LinkedIn Live session on careers in Project & Change Management.

This is an opportunity to explore:

  • Different project & change career paths across the BBC

  • Key skills the BBC looks for in project & change talent

  • How to break into project/change roles without “traditional” experience

Speak with experts
Gain insider knowledge
Network with other professionals
