Shoutouts 🗣️

Maybe I will bump into you next Gang 👀

Fraud friendly careers 🤔

We are experiencing a serious fraud EPIDEMIC right now!

  • Scam recruitment companies

  • Fake job interviews

  • HMRC scam calls

Add my Amex credit card being hacked for £500 worth of Uber Eats to the list 🤦🏾‍♂️

I guess healthy living wasn’t on this hacker's agenda 😭

Back in my day, fraud was really reserved for big money licks i.e. £20k and upwards!

Now they just letting anybody into the game…smh 🤦🏾‍♂️

I blame this on people going into the wrong careers to be honest!

We need more people working in…

So, we have more reinforcements to stop fraudulent activities!

These are all jobs that you can apply to at Beyond Education.

Even you fraudsters (if you are reading this)…

Hacking into a 2-factor authenticated Amex account is not easy!

Game recognise game 😏

If you could just channel that energy into an actual career…

You could be making a killing 💸

With a moderate pension and a boomer who can’t convert a Word document into a PDF micro managing you 🤷🏾‍♂️

Just some food for thought 💭

PS: Still in an ongoing battle with the Amex disputes team trying to get my money back 🤦🏾‍♂️

CEO Day in the Life

Your mental health is not always going to be 100%

Especially when you are doing hard sh*t!

A day in the life operating on a low 5.5 out of 10...

10am: Commute to office. Headphones in. No music playing. Contemplating using ChatGPT to process human emotions.

10:30am: Can’t concentrate. Coffee break. 1hr walk. “God strengthen me” repeatedly underneath my breathe.

11:30am - 3pm: Locked in. Power through work as much as I can.

3pm: Reluctantly opening up to a friend in the office.

4pm: Try to go for a walk. Frozen in reception for an hour. Trying to gather my thoughts.

5pm: Finally leave reception and go outside. Stuck in the middle of the pavement. Hyperaware that I’m struggling to get through the day now.

5:15pm: Phone call from a friend. She’s going through her own stuff. An opportunity to deflect. Perfect!

5:30pm: Now we are talking about me. Damn it! I am upset. I don’t know why! Everything is going well…

  • The brand is growing exponentially

  • Business pipeline looking solid right now

  • Record number of traffic & applications at Beyond Education

Her: “So what’s wrong Stephen…”

Me: “I don’t know how to help you help me…”

I hang up the phone abruptly.

5:50pm: Crying my eyes out in the middle of the street.

6pm: Recuperated. Went back to the office. Locked in! Finished all my to-dos for the day.

8:30pm: Chopped it up with some friends in the office. Acknowledged my feelings.

9pm: Heavy weights. Loud music. Called it a night. What a day!

Whether you are….

  • Job searching in this treacherous market

  • Bootstrapping a business & struggling to get clients

  • Navigating a bunch of hard sh*t right now.

I see you!

Feel the pain.
Process the emotion.
Talk to someone.

Then get back to work!

The vision is still clear(ish), even though we get teary-eyed from time to time 🙏🏾

PS: Remember going through sh*t is tough, but you are tuffer! I promise 💛
