How to get fired from your job 🫠

HR has to be one of the most entertaining jobs in the corporate world, because if your company is messy, you get a front-row seat to all the drama if you're into that kind of stuff 😬

Here are a few reasons why you might get fired at work (from a HR professional) ⬇️

1. At work for vibes

If you’re coasting, under-delivering, or just clocking in for vibes, your days are numbered because they are watching! HR teams are actively advising companies EVERY WEEK on how to fire underperforming staff. Because surprise surprise, companies don’t want to pay you for being shit at your job.

2. Getting carried away at work drinks 😬

Yeah…what happens at work drinks doesn’t always stay at work drinks. Fights, messy arguments or inappropriate behaviour? HR can (and will) step in. Just because it’s 9pm at the pub doesn’t mean it’s not still a “work environment”

3. Work Baeski 🫶🏾

Unless you’re 99.9% sure you’ve found the love of your life and there’s MUTUAL interest…don’t sh*t where you eat gang! If there’s no mutual interest…I fear that’s harassment which is a fast track to getting fired (and a restraining order💀).

4. Having an affair 🥴

If you’re going to have an affair (ideally, don’t), maybe don’t do it with a colleague and DEFINITELY don’t do it when your actual partner works at the same company. Sounds wild but this is real life sh*t from a HR professional.

The Bottom Line:

🫡 Be good at your job
😬 Don’t get carried away at work drinks
🫶🏾 Keep the love triangles off the office floor plan

And most importantly…

Have your affairs outside of work 🫶🏾

Don’t get fired x
