How to fumble the bag 💸
How to fumble the bag:
ONLY applying for jobs where you meet 100% of the criteria.
You are leaving money on the table!
That role that looks like a stretch?
Might be the one where you end up securing the bag x10!
And I get it. When the job spec looks serious…
Imposter syndrome creeps in.
You start second-guessing yourself.
But you’re probably more qualified than you think!
Even if you don’t meet all the requirements.
You just need to highlight transferable skills.
So input this prompt into ChatGPT: ”If I worked as a [previous/current postion] and I’m looking to go into [desired position] role. Outline the most relevant transferable skills I have to make me a desirable candidate”
Then what you need to do is:
Highlight it in your CV
Expand in cover letters
Provide further context in interviews
This makes it explicitly clear that you are capable of doing the role even if your previous experience on paper says otherwise.
Now, I’m not here to be a motivational speaker.
We’ve just dropped new roles in Tech, Sales & Marketing.

Courtesy of BBC, Kraken Technology & Octopus Energy Group
Some roles are entry-level.
Some roles require experience.
If you meet even 50% of the requirements. Apply!
You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take #shootershoot

Founder Updates: #ripharley :(
I lost someone very near and dear to me this week. The thing is…there were signs! We almost got into a car accident on two occasions the week before. On the morning of the day I lost her, we experienced a nasty fall. So I was lowkey not surprised when I came back home and she was…gone! To the person that stole my bike, I hope you crash x I will be accepting a new bike, a lifetime sponsorship to lime bikes and cash donations at this point in time. We really lost a real one, guys. gone too soon. #ripharley :(

Thank you for getting to the end {{ first name | Gang }}.
