General Updates

Some people hate constructive feedback, but not me.

I don't run away from constructive criticism.

I added a feedback option to the newsletter, and you guys did not shy away from telling me what’s on your mind.

I like that 🤝

Shoutout to Abigail in particular for the candid feedback:

2. “Only internships, no grad jobs”.

I am sure most of you felt this way, so it’s only right I address it.

Point 1: I’ve given our Meme Curator in Residence, Toju, a stern word to ensure we up the meme quality. Obviously, he’s 2 weeks into the gig, so there's an adjustment period to consider. Nonetheless, we are working on it!

Point 2: The internships we have will likely lead to full-time offers (subject to performance). We had a few community members secure full-time offers in 2023, and we expect nothing less this year because you guys are ON IT!

Secondly, in a competitive job market, internships could be the stepping stone experience needed to secure a grad job somewhere else, so I wouldn’t discount it.

With that being said, we have roles across London & Manchester.
