Beware of recruitment scams šŸ¤§

These fraud boyzzz (& girls) are really trying to hit a lick by any means necessary.

A popular investment trading company has issued a warning to candidates to beware of fake recruiters.

Apparently, a company called ā€œRekruiteā€ has beenā€¦

  • Listing fake jobs of pretending to represent the employer

  • Asking for payments related to immigration processes

  • Obtaining their personal information, e.g. bank details, identity docs, etc.

Wicked work šŸ„“

How are people falling for this?

  • Ā£468k salary

  • Visa sponsorship

  • Treacherous job market

Yhh long day! (Could never be me though šŸ™‚)

Hereā€™s how to not be a victim of this scam:

  1. Keep a tracker of all the jobs you apply to. If you donā€™t remember applying and you are contacted out of the blueā€¦be wary!

  2. If youā€™ve been sent a random link from a weird-looking email to share personal information like bank details, facial ID and any other things that fit into this categoryā€¦DONā€™T!

  3. Only apply for jobs from trusted websites like Beyond Education

Be safe out there Gang!

PS: One of our employer partners is hosting an insight event to support candidates with REAL internship opportunities across London, Birmingham & Sheffield.
